Abstract:

This project addresses critical data gaps by bringing together all states within the Western Distinct Population Segment of the Yellow-billed Cuckoo to implement three linked objectives: 1) develop a western DPS range-wide Species Distribution Model (SDM), 2) implement a western DPS range-wide survey, and 3) investigate use of autonomous recording units (ARUs) as an alternate survey method.
