The Challenge
The mission of the U.S. Department of the Interior's (DOI) Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration Program (NRDAR Program) is to restore natural resources injured as a result of oil spills or hazardous substance releases into the environment. The NRDAR program requires tracking of internal documents as well as a public document library.
Our Solution
Build a multi-tier website that has 4 major components:
- Homepage: Provides background information about the NRDAR Program.
- Case document search: A catalog of programs with direct access to entire library of case documents for download.
- Map search: Allows end users to access the NRDAR Program information through a simple map interface with data download.
- Document search: Robust search tool that allows you to enter in keywords and search against the entire library of documents at one time.
