Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program

The Challenge

The Middle Rio Grande Endangered Species Collaborative Program (MRGESCP) is a partnership involving 16 current signatories organized to protect and improve the status of endangered species along the Middle Rio Grande (MRG) of New Mexico, while simultaneously protecting existing and future regional water sources. MRGESCP activities include water acquisition and management, habitat restoration, endangered species monitoring, and silvery minnow propagation. MRGESCP needs a database that can scale with program needs.

Our Solution

Build and host a new database and content framework for MRGESCP:

  • Import documents and program information
  • Modernize web site design and functionality
  • Enhance MRGESCP data portal based on user feedback
  • Expand document and data catalog

Develop an interactive map:

  • Create dynamic map service layers for 5 primary datasets
  • Refine pop-ups and filters
  • Expand interactive map functionality and datasets
  • Add new datasets as needed
