Thermal Release Request

The 2017 FFMP allocates 2,500 cfs-days to the Thermal Mitigation Bank. There are approximately 2,450 cfs-days remaining.

Tomorrow’s expected high air temperature in Hancock is 90F with partly sunny skies preceded by an overnight low of 67F. Today’s conditions in Hancock are mostly cloudy with an expected high of 84F.

The approximate debit from the thermal mitigation bank for this increase is 50 cfs-days. It’s likely that another request will be made tomorrow to mitigate elevated water temperatures occurring on Monday.

Thank you for your continued assistance in implementing the thermal protection bank.
