NPS Water Quality Partnership

The Challenge

Since 1998, USGS and National Park Service (NPS) scientists have been working in partnership to support a broad range of policy and management needs related to high-priority water-quality issues in national parks. This partnership is supported by a website developed several years ago by USGS. The original developer of the website is no longer associated with the program; consequently, no new development on the site has happened for several years.

Our Solution

Develop and design a new content framework and database for the program:

  • Design an engaging home page to showcase projects.
  • Add a password protected site for USGS/NPS staff.
  • Develop an interactive map to showcase locations of program work.
