The Department (NYSDEC) requests a release from the FFMP2017 Thermal Mitigation Bank. We request a 150 cfs increase to the release from Cannonsville Reservoir to relieve Delaware River temperatures on Saturday, July 6th. The weather forecast includes warm nighttime air temperatures and the potential of precipitation today, tonight, and tomorrow.
We request the following release ramping schedule for Cannonsville Reservoir:
Friday, July 5th, 2019
3:00 PM 550 cfs to 700 cfs (+150 cfs)
Maintain 700 cfs until 5:00 AM Saturday
Saturday, July 6th, 2019
5:00 AM 700 cfs to 650 cfs (-50 cfs)
7:00 AM 650 cfs to 600 cfs (-50 cfs)
9:00 AM 600 cfs to 550 cfs (-50 cfs)
