Thermal Release Request
On behalf of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, we request an enhanced release from Cannonsville Reservoir for the purpose of thermal mitigation in the mainstem Delaware River in accordance with the 2017 Flexible Flow Management Program.
Tomorrow’s forecast at Hancock, NY is a high air temperature of 86 OF and mostly sunny with a low tonight of 59 OF. The scattered thunderstorms today are not likely to produce precipitation significant enough to increase streamflow.
About 2,100 cfs-days remain in the FFMP2017 Thermal Mitigation Bank at the time of this request. No directed release is expected for the Montague Flow Objective.
