Office of the Delaware River Master
Thermal Release Request
The Department (NYSDEC) requests a release from the FFMP2017 Thermal Mitigation Bank. We request a 150 cfs increase to the release from Cannonsville Reservoir to relieve Delaware River temperatures on Tuesday, July 16th. Tomorrow's weather forecast includes a high air temperature of 87 degrees at Hancock with sunny conditions. Historical records show that tomorrow's anticipated streamflow and air temperature conditions are associated with a increased chance of exceeding 75 degrees water temperature at Lordville.
