Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of unusually warm conditions. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach or exceed 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
The estimated quantity to be debited from the bank from this pulse is 90 cfs-days.
There are about 1775 cfs-days remaining in the bank before the requested pulse and there will be about 1685 cfs-days remaining after the requested pulse. These estimates account for the increases at Pepacton and Neversink earlier this week (Tue-Fri).
