Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of unusually warm conditions. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
The estimated quantity to be debited from the bank from this pulse is 140Â cfs-days.
There are about 2065 cfs-days remaining in the bank before the requested pulse and there will be about 1925Â cfs-days remaining after the requested pulse.
The use of the bank for the increases at Pepacton and Neversink is estimated to have used an additional 150 cfs-days for the Tue-Fri period.
