Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of warm conditions. Tomorrow’s forecast is a high of 92 and mostly sunny for Binghamton and Hancock. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach or exceed 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
NYSDEC requests an increased release from Cannonsville Reservoir in the form of a 10 hour +400 cfs pulse above the current Table 4G Level L2 release of 500 cfs.
