Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC has requested a 12 hour +200 cfs pulse from Cannonsville and a 6 hour +100 cfs pulse from Pepacton to address potentially high water temperatures tomorrow.
This will use approximately 140 cfs-days from the thermal bank. There are currently about 2015 cfs-days remaining in the bank and there will be about 1875 cfs-days remaining after this pulse.
This afternoon, USGS restored the temperature measurement at the Lordville gage. Its most recent reported value is 74.5 degrees at 2:00 PM. Repairs at the Callicoon and Near Barryville gages are still underway. Yesterday’s high water temp at Lordville was likely above 75 degrees.
