Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of warm and sunny conditions. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach or exceed 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
NYSDEC requests an increased release from Cannonsville Reservoir in the form of a 10 hour +100 cfs pulse above the current Table 4G Level L2 release of 500 cfs.
There will be around 1830 cfs-days remaining in the bank after this evening’s release.
