Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of unusually warm conditions. Tomorrow’s Binghamton forecast is partly sunny, with a high near 90. For Hancock, it is forecast to be mostly sunny with a high near 89. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach or exceed 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
The estimated quantity to be debited from the bank from this pulse is 140 cfs-days.
There are 1046 cfs-days remaining in the bank before the requested increases and there will be about 906 cfs-days remaining after the requested increases.
