Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of warm conditions. Tomorrow’s forecast is mostly sunny with a high near 89 for Hancock and 91 and sunny for Binghamton. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach or exceed 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
NYSDEC requests an increased release from Cannonsville Reservoir in the form of a 10 hour +200 cfs pulse above the current Table 4G Level L1C release of 550 cfs.
