Thermal Release Request
NYSDEC is requesting a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of warm conditions. Tomorrow’s forecast is mostly sunny with a high near 89 for Binghamton and near 88 for Hancock. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY is projected to approach or exceed 75 degrees with the current conservation release from Cannonsville Reservoir.
There are 2500 cfs-days remaining in the bank before the requested increase.
