Thermal Release Request
This afternoon, NYSDEC requested a release from the 2017 FFMP Thermal Mitigation Bank due to the forecast of warm and sunny conditions. The daily high water temperature at Lordville, NY was projected to approach 75 degrees at the current conservation releases from Cannonsville and Pepacton Reservoirs. The estimated quantity debited from the bank is 35 cfs-days.
There are approximately 2312 cfs-days remaining in the bank before the pulse and there will be about 2277 cfs-days remaining after the requested pulse.
